Wang Chongjie, a male, and born in May 1957. He graduated from the Shandong Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 1982 majoring in Industrial and Civil Construction. He became a Chief Post Professor in Shandong Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering and a doctoral supervisor in Tongji University and Shandong University in 1997. He was the director of Teaching and Research Section of Architecture & Technology, vice director of Department of Architecture, president of Design and Research Institute, vice president and president of Shandong Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, president and CPC Party Secretary of Shandong Jianzhu University. He worked in the forefront of education, scientific research and science & technology development in the recent 30 years, mainly in design of solar energy and energy saving building, being one of the earliest experts studying solar energy building. Since 1980s, his research has helped Shandong Province built the first domestic student apartment with comprehensive utilization of solar energy and the first rural primary school heated with solar. As the subject leader, he led over 20 national, provincial and ministry-level longitudinal subjects and over 30 horizontal subjects in Jinan and Weifang. In recent years, he published over 60 papers on Journal of Architecture and Journal of Solar Energy, and published 6 works such as Sustainable Development of Student Apartment and Solar Architecture Design.
Professor Wang is devoted to the research on integration of solar energy and architecture, research and development of new solar products and building energy efficiency. At present, he is leading 14 scientific research subjects at state level, the Ministry of Construction, the Department of Science and Technology and the Construction Department in Shandong Province, including 1 NSFC project and 3 science & technology supporting programs during the National 11th Five-Year Plan. He made contribution to the medium and long term development plan of construction science & technology and development plan of renewable energy utilization in Shandong Province.
As a subject leader, he won 1 Second Prize of National Science & Technology Progress Award, 1 First Prize of Shandong Science & Technology Progress Award, 1 Second Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award in Ministry of Education and 2 Second Prizes of Shandong Science & Technology Progress Award. He is also the vice chairman of National Construction Technology Academic Committee, standing director of Chinese Renewable Energy Society and the vice chairman of Solar Building Committee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society.
Born in November, 1945, an ethnic of Han from Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, Fang Zhaohong is a Professor and a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from BE Tsinghua University in 1968 and awarded MSc and PhD degrees in 1981 and 1987. He has been teaching in Shandong Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (predecessor of Shandong Jianzhu University) since 1981. He was recognized as a State Council Expert for Special Allowance in 1997. Professor Fang spent one year on cooperative study in University of Manchester, Institute of Science & technology (UMIST) in 1986 and another year in University of British Columbia (UBC) from 1993 to 1994. He made great achievements in laser pulse method and heat transfer in circulating fluidized bed. He spent three months in Oklahoma State University to study ground source heat pump technology in 2000.
Professor Fang has led numerous programs and applied research projects sponsored by the national and Shandong Natural Science Funds. He published over 100 papers in International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Transactions of ASME, Journal of Heat Transfer, International Journal of Thermophysics and Journal of Engineering Thermophysics, 23 of which are listed in EI and SCI. He wrote the Advanced Heat Transfer as a textbook for postgraduate teaching and contributed the Heat Insulation entry to the Encyclopedia of Chemistry. The Research on Porous Medium Heat and Moisture Transfer Properties and Natural Convection Heat Transfer completed by him as a major contributor was awarded the First Prize of Science & technology issued by State Education Commission in 1993; the Distributed Computer Control System of Multistage Heat Supply Network led by him was awarded the Second Prize of Science & technology Progress in Shandong and the Third Prize of Science & technology Progress of the Ministry of Construction in 1996. The Research on Circulating Fluidized Bed Heat Transfer sponsored by Shandong Natural Science Funds was awarded the Third Prize of Science & technology Progress of the Ministry of Education in 1999; he also led the sub-subject of Heat Transfer and Heat Flow Measurement Technology in Circulating Fluidized Bed under the Technical Development of Combustion Desulfurization and Tri-generation of Coal Fired Boiler, one of the National Key Technology Research and Development Programs of China during the 10th Five-Year Plan.
Professor Liu Yu'an was born in November, 1960 and hails from Zaozhuang in Shandong Province. He is recognized as a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Shandong Province and enjoys State Council's Special Allowance. His achievements in scientific research won the National Top Award in both natural and social sciences. His Ceramic Shaped Dowel Plate won the National Science & Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Science & Technology. With this award, he participated in the National Science & Technology Awards Conference and received by the Party and state leaders. His sculpture Peace won the National Arts Award by the Ministry of Culture. Among others in Shandong, this work was displayed in the national first murals exhibition and awarded the Chinese Artists Association Prize. His relief works in Quancheng Square won International Art Square award from UNESCO the First Prize in Shandong Preliminaries of the 10th National Art Exhibition.
Liu Zechang is a professor, PhD Supervisor, and a provincial top talent with professional skill, enjoys the Special Allowance of State Council , a member of National Technical Committee 469 on Coal Chemical Industry of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC42) and Coal Chemistry Committee of China Coal Society, president of Clean Coal Technology Institute under School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering in Shandong University of Science & Technology, with 10 prizes in national and provincial projects, 1 prize in educational research subject toward the 21 century in Shandong Province and over 10 prizes in enterprise projects. He won 1 Second Prize and 2 Third Prizes of provincial Science & technology Progress, 2 Third Prizes of Science & Technology Progress Award in Shandong Provincial Education Department, 1 First Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award in Shandong Coal Association, 1 Third Prizes of Tai'an Science & Technology Progress Award, over 70 academic papers at home and abroad, 11 of which are listed in SCT and EI, over 20 are listed in CA and 1 academic publication. He is also involved in key international cooperation projects of the Ministry of Science & Technology; China-Austria international cooperation projects; Shandong Top Ten Science & Technology Demonstration Projects in sustainable development; research, development and demonstration of comprehensive treatment technology of ambient air pollution in Jinan; Shandong Natural Science Funds Project; and flue gas desulfurization project in coal-fired power plant of Feicheng Mining Group.
Born in July, 1967, and hails from Liaoning Province. Lu Min is a female professor and enjoys the Special Allowance of the State Council. She has completed a number of national and provincial and municipal scientific research subjects. As a leader in landscape in Shandong Jianzhu University, she has led over 10 subjects on Design Research of Plant Purification and Wetland Landscape for Ecological Sewage Treatment, Research and Building of Ecological Network System of Urban Green Land Based on Remote Sensing and GIS Technology under the Ministry of Construction and Research on Building Urban Green Land System and Ecological Environment under the Ministry of Science and Technology and the achievements won 4 awards, in which the Research on Green Tree’s Purifying Capacity on Air Pollutants won the First Prize of National Excellent Academic Achievements. She wrote the Landscape Design, Building of Urban Ecological Green Land System and Budget and BOQ pricing of Landscape Engineering, and published over 40 academic papers on Forest Science, Journal of Applied Ecology and Chinese Journal of Eco-Agriculture in the recent 5 years (since 2001), over 30 of which are essential, 5 are Class A, 5 are listed in CSSCI and 2 are listed in CA (Chemical Abstracts).
She gave postgraduate and undergraduate lectures on Landscape Design, Landscape Plant Application, Overview of Ecological Landscape, Landscape Ecology and Environmental Ecology, and gave provincial registered architect applicants lectures on Ecological Landscape and Landscape Planning and Design.
As a CPPCC member, her Proposals on Promoting Ecological City Building in Shandong Province in 2005, Proposals on Promoting Municipal Sewage Recycling and Ensuring Sustainable Utilization of Water Resource in Jinan in 2006 and Proposals on Building Ecological Environment and Ecological Green Land System in Jinan won the Third Prize of Shandong Excellent Achievement in CDNCA Political Participation and Excellent Proposal Award of 3rd and 4th session of 11th Jinan CPPCC congress respectively, which plays an important role in urban building and economic development of Shandong Province and Jinan City.

He is a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Shandong Province and a of the State Council's Special Allowance, He led 2 key scientific and technological subjects and 2 Natural Science Funds subjects in Shandong Province, participated in the research on the subjects in Shandong science of education during the 10th Five-Year Plan and the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education and 2 provincial and ministry-level subjects and a number of horizontal subjects. His research achievements has won 1 Second Prize (ranked first) of Shandong Science & Technology Progress, 1 Second Prize (ranked first) of National Science & Technology Progress nominated in the Ministry of Education, 1 Third Price (rank second) of Shandong Humanities and Social Sciences, 11 university-level and department-level science research awards, 8 applied national patents, 5 of which are granted, over 40 academic papers, 10 of which are listed in EI. Xu Bin is a male professor, born in November 1957, and hails from Feicheng, Shandong Province. He is a middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Shandong Province and beneficiary of the State Council's Special Allowance. In recent years, he led and undertook (ranked second) 4 NSFC projects (50371048, 50372035) and 4 provincial projects. He won 2 Second Prizes of Shandong Science & Technology Progress Award, 2 Second Prizes and 2 Third Prizes of Shandong Natural Science Award, 2 Second Prizes of Excellent Scientific Research Achievement Award for colleges and universities in Shandong Province, 4 Technical Patents and nominated as Shandong Excellent Inventor of Chinese Patent. These achievements are leading in domestic and at international advanced level, especially in economic and social benefits followed by the promotion and application of technical patents, which plays a significant role in energy conservation and environmental protection, with economic benefit of nearly RMB 45 million. As the first author or communication author, he published over 40 papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, most of which are listed in SCI and EI. He made great innovation in research on diamond synthesis, and his theoretical perspectives are accepted by foreign counterparts. From Rushan, Shandong Province, Professor Zheng Zhongcai was born in March 1963. He was recognized as a State Council Expert beneficiary for Special Allowance in 2002. He is engaged in design & development, scientific research and teaching of combustion motors, automobiles and machinery, especially in performance improvement of combustion motors and dynamic characteristics analysis and noise control of automobiles and machinery, which helps solve many technical difficulties and brings great social and economic benefits. During 1990-1991, as a principal member of a research team, he made Research on Performance Improvement of Key Basic Parts of Combustion Motors under the Technology Commission of Shandong Province, one of the National Key Technology Research and Development Programs of China during the 7th Five-Year Plan, which fills a domestic void. During 1992-1993, as the second principal member of a research team, he made Research on Modal Analysis of Controlling Deformation of Parts of Combustion Motors under the Technology Commission of Shandong Province, which is awarded the First Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award for mechanical industry system in Shandong Province in 1995. During 1994-1995, as a leader of the research team, he made Research on Modification Technology of Structure of Dynamic Characteristic of Parts of Combustion Motor under the Technology Commission of Shandong Province, which is awarded the Second Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award in 1999 and the First Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award for mechanical industry system in Shandong Province. During 1998-1999, as a main member of a research team, he made Research on Clutch Test Bed for Four-Stroke Motorcycle under the Technology Commission of Shandong Province, which is awarded the First Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award for mechanical industry system in Shandong Province in 2000 and the Third Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award in 2001. During 1999-2000, as a leader of research team, he led the Research on LPG Mixer for LPG/Gasoline Automobile under the Technology Commission of Jinan City, which is awarded the Second Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award for construction committee system in Jinan in 2000 and the Third Prize of Jinan Science & Technology Progress Award in 2001. In 2006, as a leader of research team, he undertook the Research on Smokeless Muffler for Agricultural Automobile under the Department of Science and Technology in Shandong Province and Research on Analytical Method of Dynamic Characteristics of Engine Body of Automobile under Shandong Natural Science Funds. He published over 20 academic papers and presented a number of papers in academic conferences. He won BFT and CDC certificates. He led the building of the engine laboratory of Shandong Jianzhu University and gave lectures on the 11 elementary courses and professional courses for undergraduates and the course Advanced Dynamics for postgraduates. His undergraduate students won the Excellent Essay Award in Shandong Jianzhu University in 2004 and 2007 respectively. Many students instructed by him won prizes in the Challenge Cup Business Plan and Science & Technology Work Competition. He won the Second Prize of Excellent Teacher Award and the Excellent Teaching Award in Shandong Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 2005.
